Having spent the last three days trying to get my 1600 sport electric windows to work, I am throwing in the towel and ask does anyone have some tips, procedure, specification for motor etc. Alternativeley does anyone have a pair on Sport 1.3 manual winder mechanisms?(I think they may be different from the coupe from parts book)?

They work after a fashion ie go down! but returning is another matter. I have checked and rebuilt the little electric motor (seems to draw a miserly 2 amps when running - is this about right???), and have ensured all pullies are free and easy to rotate. Glass slides up and down by hand like a breeze so the guides are aligned, and there is new proper fit felt guides.

Maybe someone has a Lancia technical guide on setting up the electric window winding mechanism?

Hope to hear from you

Its not the winning but taking part! or is it taking apart?

All the ones I have seen are similarly slow. Can you check the torque of the motors on the bench?
