I assume that the Coupe exhausts are different to the Berlina but are the exhausts for all Berlinas (S1, S2 and S3) the same and are they also the same for the Trevi? My local motor factors have come up blank so I'll be checking with Jaystock first thing on Monday but does anyone know who might have stock of a central section for the Trevi?

I have attached an old TIMAX Page, most motor factors should be able to cross reference the part numbers.

good luck
Tony,

Beta S3 Saloon  / Trevi have an additional silencer in the centre section of the exhaust over the S2 saloon. As far as i am aware, an S2 system will fit an S3 / Trevi, but will obviously make the car noisier than it should be.

I ordered the rather expensive  Embarrassed exhaust from Germany, and it arrived yesterday  Cheesy. I must say, the German vendor gave excellent service and the exhaust seems to be of very high quality  Cheesy. But it's about 10cm shorter than the one fitted to my car  Undecided. I don't know if the difference is between i.e. and carburettor models or different series or just different makes.

Luckily the pipe on my old exhaust was still in good condition so about 10cm was cut off and fitted to the new exhaust to make it the correct length.

Once of the correct length the new exhaust section went on easily and perfectly.  Grin Cheesy

Difference could be that they have sent you a Coupe exhaust. (S2 FL2 coupe's also had the extra box in the centre section) The only difference I am aware of is the length of the centre pipe - to account for the difference in wheelbase between coupe and saloon.

Yes, that's what Jason (TreviDash) suggested. I certainly didn't ask for a Coupe exhaust. In fact the German supplier insists that an on-line order form be filled in after the eBay order. The online form requests "key numbers" (part numbers?) or if not available then details of Make, Model, year, engine size and engine power before they supply the exhaust. I requested one for a 1983 fuel injected Trevi (122bhp) as I assume that's what my car was fitted with even though it's a carburettor model. Probably the German vendor don't know what they have or simply picked up the wrong exhaust and sent it to me. But it's on the car now and it's fine  Cheesy
