Looking a lot better

« on: 19 August, 2009, 01:35:25 PM »

Hi,

I need to change the headlights on my Lancia Fulvia series 1, is it relatively easy to find headlights and what size do I need, are they universal size that I can purchase from any motor factor?

Kind regards,

Paul

The headlights are standard 5 3/4" units, you will need 2 H4 type with sidelights and 2 H1 type main beam.

The best are Cibie which can be bought from the motorsports division of Demon Tweekes http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.asp?cls=MSPORT&pcode=CIB082441 although I am sure others will do them. Not cheap I am afraid but probably the best lights for a Fulvia Coupe!

I heard from Omicron that Cibie were not going to make anymore but have decided to "but need to retool" the lens which means it will become v expensive compared to now.

Tim,

Are you talking about the Cibie 5 3/4 headlights for the Fulvia Coupe (which Demon Tweekes say they have in stock) or the Fulvia Sport Zagato lights which have not been available for a while?

An alternate supplier is Classic and Rally Services, they had a good stock of Cibie lights last year.
