King Pin Angle - KPI
Understand it as the angle the steering (vertical) axis is displaced relative to the centre of the front tyre patch.
Any idea whjat this should be on 1600 Fulvia Coupe?
Thanks

3 deg - 30 mins (+/- 20 mins).
Its all in the Data Book - it's worthwhile getting.

Many thanks.
Any idea how that would change with front spacers fitted?

As you move the wheels outboard the axis moves away from the tyre patch. So the angle will decrease when measured from a horizontal plane. What are your aims in doing this?

I gave you some bum information (the castor angle) - apologies. The KPI for a 1600 is not given but as it is the same hub as a 1300 the KPI for a 1600 I guess should be that of the 1300 (5 deg) + the difference in camber (3deg) so 8 degs ??
If you fit spacers won't you change the scrub radius rather than the KPI ??
