By accident, I came across this great website with lots of pics of famous Lancia owners from Bardot in her Aurelia to Nuvolari and his Berlina.  I never knew that Prince Aly Aga Khan (Rita Hayworth's husband) killed himself in a Flaminia Touring.

Worth clicking on the sub-menus to get extra info as well.

I wonder where all the cars are now.

Have fun, Adam

Neil,  I was aware of these four Lancia owners, one I know was a member, the first name on the list who had an integrale, his car is a regular Surrey area attendee with another member now.

Rowan Atkinson once came to a Sliding Pillar rally in the early 90s'.

What about Sir Stirling? And the Belna's an Augusta, I think.

The photo of 'Gregory Peck' and his Aurelia looks more like Gary Cooper, then again maybe I spent too much time looking at old westerns with my Dad.

I went to look at a fanalone project some time ago that was previously owned by Bruce Dickinson, lead singer with Iron Maiden. He had painted it black.

And Steve McClaren (the wally with a brolly) used to have a Fulvia Zagato !

J Clarkson is buying (has bought?) a Stratos'.

Hasn't the Queen got a Flaminia state car (Harvey, what's her tag on the Forum?)

Malcolm Fraser (Australian PM) owned a few.

Jan Leeming ( the BBC Newsreader) used to have a Beta Volumex Coupe in the mid 80's! Now, there's a little known fact!

Somewhere along the way I heard that the comedienne Beryl Reid owned a Fulvia Sport, but got fed up with it because the carburettors needed frequent retuning. Sound familiar!

Also, Montague Burton of Burton’s outfitters has two Fulvia 1600 Sports, one of which is now owned by Fred Anderson.

And Peter Ustinov owned an Aprilia which was, and probably still is, owned by Fred Anderson. This Aprilia is an English (Eagle?) bodied convertible. (Did I say it was ugly?)

A few years ago I saw a Beta Montecarlo, the proud owner (I forget who) of which showed off the registration book which showed the first owner to be Emerson Fittipaldi.

One of Gerald Batt’s Lambdas – the one that was owned by the sculptor Olliffe Richmond, was first owned by Count Zabrowski – he who created Chitty-chitty-bang-bang. While checking on the spelling of his name I discover that in 1922 he did Kop Hill in a Ballot in 26 seconds – blimey!
