I have received the following which LMC members may find of interest.
SPG TEAM AND THE LANCIA FULVIA
My first memories of the RAC Rally was the service halt at the Crest Hotel nr Carlisle, just off the M6. The nearest I came was marshalling at Knowsley Safari Park, Chatsworth and Clumber Park.
The first Roger Albert Clark was in a Peugeot 205 in 2004. and finished but only after having ripped out a driveshaft.
In 2005 the Graham brothers purchased an ex Gwyndaf Evans MGZR and competed in the British Rally Championship, the Wales Rally GB and the Roger Albert Clark where they finished second in class to Tony Jardine.
During 2006 the brothers decided to build a Fulvia and purchased three cars, 70,73,75 with the intention of recreating a Kallstrom lookalike. The 1970 car, a 1.3S provided the basis and Keith Bird Motorsport did the work. Eventually it was painted in the Munari, 1972 Monte Carlo Rally colours.
