I'm having a clear out and have a run of Classic Cars magazine from issue number 2 1973 to December 1999. 233 copies so 80 odd missing.

Also Practical Classics from January 1990 to December 1999 30 or so missing.

I tried them without success on Ebay. Free to anyone who would like them before they go to be recycled.

At the same time I unearthed LMC mags going back to the 60's and got hooked on reading one an evening. Fascinating stuff.

Wouldn't it be good if we had a library of all the Club News Sheets and Journals online.  I have most going back to the early days too and when ever i get them out to find a particular article it is usually hours later that I stop reading. Just imagine being able to search all that history online!! I'm sure the more recent members would then find it fascinating too.  (A much better way to spend money than a book!) ( Yes I know we have been there before!!)

I agree, an online libray of all the features and articles would be a priceless resource, I would contribute to such an objective whereas I very much doubt I will buy the much heralded book sadly.

Sorry Robin but it's a bit too small to read.

Hi Robin you probably need to drop down to about 90kb, as size is ok but too blurred to read, must admit i've had the same problem with old typed documents.

In todays money the Spider is £3,500 and the saloon £2,300.

If you think what 20 year old cars cost these days its about right.  Now the question is will any of the "second hand" cars in that 2-3K range ever appreciate to the same degree?   A decent 205GTi is getting hard to find - what might they be worth in 2050?   How will we view the 150mph luxo barges?

Hi Robin,
The quality of the scan doesn't seem to be high enough as it's still unreadable. Cry
