I think a member of the LMC should compile a register of those who compete regularly in their Lancia cars. I am happy to compile the list so please contact me with name, address and car details etc. It would be nice if we all entered under the banner of Lancia Motor Club, perhaps the club would give it official support, after all it would help promote their sporting image, maybe we could call ourselves Team Hi-Fi.

Hi Peter,
I have competed in the HSCC Historic Road Sports Championship this season in my 3rd Series Aurelia B20 and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Hopefully next season I will do some more European events and at present I am trying to see what might be available and the relevant dates.

Hi Peter,
Season over and I have won my class in the HSCC Historic Road Sports Championship. Also I have been told by the HSCC that I have won the Lancia Trophy for the best performance by a Lancia this season in the HSCC.
No bad for a 56 year old novice who needs to lose weight!

Sorry for not replying to you earlier Peter. I Sprinted my standard Fulvia Coupe 1.3 in the ACSMC Championship in 2005 and just did one sprint this year at Abingdon. As the categories do not suit the older cars there is no hope of me wining anything but I still enjoy driving the Fulvia fast. I will again look to find some events to have a go in next year and maybe look to the midlands instead.

Peter

I compete in my Fulvia HF1600, in Northern Ireland. This year, (my first of Lancia ownership having been an Alfisti in a previous life  Cheesy  ) I did a few sprints & hillclimbs, making a bit of history, by being the first saloon to make it into a British Hillclimb Championship Run Off ( its a long story !! ).

But my intended use for the HF is Historic road rallies, I did the 3 day Circuit of Ireland Retro in early November and hope to do a few events in GB in 2007

Cheers

I think that our competition days are over after one event......
Retire at the top they say, and, after winning the Group 4 Regularity in Turin this September, Andrea and I are retiring the Stratos Replica with a 100% winning record!

I did compete for a while with my Aurelia but its been a while.  "Maybe next year" is ever the Christmas Wish.

What I would like to see is a calendar of when and where you guys are going to be competing.

Alas Brands HSCC this year I made it for the Sat to spectate but couldn't get there again on the Sun for the Lancias.   If I'm going to make the trip to one Donnington meet knowing if the Lancias are doing the Top Hat or the HSCC meeting would be of interest.

Going to watch a sprint where they'd be a Fulvia would trump watching the Minis race at Brands.  The kids don't care what it is as long as there's a picnic.

Anyway - GOOD LUCK EVERYONE !!

The committee need to know who uses their car in competition, best performance can win a prize.

Only picked up the John Borthwick trophy yesterday at the AGM for results during 2006 including a class win at Brands hatch and a couple of second place overall (to an ex-John Cleland Vauxhall Cavalier Super Touring Car) at Croix-en-Ternois

But as it looks so nice in my cabinet  Cool here's my attempt at retaining it for 2007!

Dunlop Track and Race Car Open Saloons at Brands Hatch in March - 1st in class despite losing 3rd gear in qualifying

Dunlop Motorsport News series, 2nd and 3rd in class in May at Brands Hatch

Having grenaded yet another engine, that's it for this season. Now rebuilding ready for next season
