I tend to buy my clothes from shops similar to the ones used by Chugga Boom (remember the trousers!) so I don’t really pay much attention to the window displays of shops like Moss Bros. But yesterday my eyes nearly popped out of my head when a sideways glance at their window in Muswell Hill revealed the unmistakable rear end of a Flaminia Touring as a backdrop to the display. See photos of the window and the rear of the screen in the shop.

Apparently all Moss Bros branches have been fitted out in this way and the screens will be up for grabs when they change the displays in a couple of months. Could be your opportunity to get hold of a large picture – all you need to do is cut out the smart dude by the car and paste in your own image, hang it on the wall and look really cool.

Colin.

How very amusing.  I was about to visit our local MossBros to hire a suit for my daughter's wedding in May.  I shall make a point of going in my Flaminia - which with the hard top fitted looks just like the one in the window.

I saw the poster today too. I was just walking past during my lunch hour and caught a glimpse of the wheel out of the corner of my eye. It is surprising how sensitised one can be to the slightest glimpse of Lancia. Lancias seem to be  gathering quite a bit of "cool" status at the moment.

Branches of Moss Bros are changing their window displays! If you want a big picture, it could be a good time to make a visit. But please keep away from the Muswell Hill branch!
