Ok having a geek moment - that looks like an appia coupe rather than a flaminia. Both models are easy on the eye though!
Cheers Dave

Some fab pics there Richard.....living in the far west of N Ireland, Lancias were more or less non-existent when I was growing up.

A wedding I attended in Italy about 15 years ago.... I understand the Flaminia is still going strong - unlike the marriage!
. Another wedding

Yes, Very well known and documented Lancia Flaminia Presidentiale's, there used to be one in the Biscarreti Motor Museum in Turin, used when Queen Elizabeth II paid an official visit to Italy , and was used on many Official events by Italy's Presidents, and the various Pope's. Brian 8227 .

Not in my garage but leaving my drive. A bit sad really as it was right hand drive and first owned by Alistair Mclean of Ice station Zebra etc. Later it was owned by the naval attaché in Cairo who used to drive it home across Europe and over the alps when going on leave and then by a naval officer who lived in Suffolk but commuted weekly to Faslane naval base in it.
It was acquired as a derelict by Cristo and myself with the suspension ending up with Chugga for some nefarious project.

[/quote You should have seen it when Frank & myself went to view it, it was pretending to be a submarine, as it had sunk so far in to the ground! Nefarious project stiill awaiting fruition Brian 8227
