Well, sold my 2000 Coupe and HF. Decided I couldn't justify bringing the 2000 up to scratch so it has gone to a good Lancia enthusiast who is doing the right thing by it.
Swithered about the Thema 3.0 SW LX which was for sale but decided it is not really a high days kind of car, no matter how gorgeous the interior is.
So I jumped ship (for now) and ended up with a 1993 Mercedes SL500! Not exactly a Lancia, or even Italian. But have always liked them and figured now is the time to do the V8 300bhp + thing before it is outlawed by our wonderful leaders. Will get this out my system and return to the fold however....
Now, anyone know of a mint S1 Thema LX ie anywhere? Silver with blue alcantara would be nice (this was my first Thema 20 years ago, so the nostalgia thing is kicking in!).

Chappy decided he didn't want to sell it. And the 2000 has put me off the "genuine" classics for now. I don't have the patience, nor the deep pockets, to keep on top of them properly. In saying that, if anything major goes wrong with the SL I'll be in trouble!

I hope all goes well with your Merc, but if you do get problems then Mercaid are really good and only charge £70 soemthing per hour instead of the £170 my merc dealer charges

Thanks Carlos. Already well into one of them. Much research done before taking the plunge. Had originally thought of being "sensible" and going for the 320 but 500 had to be done. Not a Lancia but it is very nice!

Hi Brian,
Theres a MERCAID near me in Hainault and also one in London,
Interstingly just did google on them and it now says they are trading as motoraid, not sure why the change of name unless they are dealing with more vehicles other than just Mercs.
My experience with them was very good, but it was over a year ago.
Carlos.
