S1 Black Berlina for sale

Hi Guys. The Gamma Consortium has become aware of a series 1 Berlina (original black) that will be going for scrap on 6th April unless someone would like to offer £600 for it. I took the attached pictures yesterday. The car is in Normandy in France but is registered in UK and is right hand drive. The interior is in cream leather but the driver's seat has a crack right through and would need the attention of an upholsterer to make perfect. The car is in fair condition but would require some minor bodywork and a full re-spray to bring back to full glory. I did not hear the engine running as there was no battery but the owner told me that when he last drove it - two years ago - all was well with good oil pressure and no overheating. The engine has done about 120,000 miles but had a top end re-build by Clive York when it suffered a slipped belt many years ago. Also, the clutchplate is currently stuck on the flywheel as a result of standing for two years.
As I said - this car will go for scrap on Tuesday next week unless someone intervenes. Get in touch with me if you are interested.
