Nice picture guys, what is the devise coming off the oil filler, Is it a breather of some kind?
Suspect it's a breather to take fumes back to below the carburettor, back in the 1960's before more sopthisticated system were introduced, this was common practice and on Vauxhalls used to go to a stub on the insulator block between the carb and inlet manifold, it's an after fitment as my 1966 2c still has the breather tube that vents to the open air about crankcase level, keep think about fitting an oil drip tank, as it does tend to leave oil drips wherever you park.
