Here's a diagram of the subframe mounting box that has been requested but I'm not sure that I understand them?

Have a look at these and take heart that someone elses Fulvia might be worse than your restoration project!
I'm just amazed that Karl found enough good metal to weld anything to.
or, perhaps yours is worse Shocked

I spent several years looking for a Fulvia coupe. I can recall looking at 3 (1 of each series funnily enough) that were in a similar state to this. Amazingly the series 2 and 3 were both runners, and I drove them round the respective vendor's estates without the subframe separating from the bodyshell! As a non welder I correctly assessed that they were beyond my ability to restore/pay to restore.

Those who can weld have my admiration, wish I could, but even then you need a fair dose of courage!

I have a drawing for the mounting box, I made them myself, now I would'ent be a very good welder but  had to learn fast. I made the boxes using the origional nut for the mounting, then the problem of fitting them to NOTHING ! I had to call on the skills of a retired friend to fabricate and weld the box to the car. Only problem this took about nine months to complete Huh?
