Thought it might help to have a thread for anyone who finds a Lancia commercial for sale in Italy or where ever to have somewhere to post!

To start with how about the following?

http://veicoli-commerciali.aaannunci.it/autocarro-camion-lancia-tl-51-militare-301549c2.aspx

Easier that "That Truck".

Don, you beat me to it but we're obviously thinking along the same lines.

Can you find something a bit smaller? a nice Jolly van perhaps?

There was nice blue and white SuperJolly camper van for sale a year or so ago in Europe, anyone know what happened to that?

You might want something smaller to rival Chugga!

http://www.autoaffari.com/vendita-auto-usate-scheda-auto.php?codice_inserzione=1278910920

Bit pricey though.

Currently advertised by Theo Jansen.

E18000 seems expensive.

Don,

Thanks, so many choices !!

The little Ardea pick up is gorgeous but the camper would be a fantastic 'mission control' for events, and could probably be bought for about the same price as the Ardea. However it's probably not that much smaller than 'that truck'.

There must be a Jolly out there somewhere ?

Very much so  Shocked
I came within a hairs breadth of buying this in 2004, before sanity, and the thought that Diane would kill me, or worse, took over, although I often wish I'd taking the chance of singing high c!
At the time it was on offer for 8200 Euro.
Here's some information I received from the owner at the time, gianni Codiferro.
Chassis bought in Rome on September 19th 1969 and coachwork in ARCA (Rome) for a rich French Journalist ( very rich if you consider the period) this caravan was used in France and Italy for a long time.
Later sold to a Lancia Collector in Milan who used it to drive his family and his "Zagato Double Bubble" to the Italian and German race championships.
After his death in 1999, the family decided to sell it, so I bought it in February 2001: transported it by truck to Vicenza,I've replaced the GPL tank, New Tyres, Disk Brakes etc.
Occaisionally I've used it for some meetings with oldtimer cars and boats.
I've all the original papers and documents: original invoice dated 19/9/1969, invoice of all the accessories, original catalogue, original project for the drawing hook (Towbar?), invoice of all the works done in garage in France.
Original operating, maintenance and service handbook, one in Italian, one in English, and a big catalogue superjolly regarding the explosion  (exploded?) drawing.
Details
Built on September 19 1969
Chassis No. 2645.
1800cc.
Power 92 cv's at 5200 rpm.
Max speed 135 km/H.
4 Gears.
Electric Steering (!)
GPL+Petrol.
Built on "Duralluminio (Built in Duraluminum?)
Attack (Attachment?) for Trailer Max 1500KG.
4 Disc Brake double Pliers each? (Twin pot calipers?)
Homologated for 6 persons (4 Beds)
Refrigerator, bathroom with shower,Veranda
Long 670cm.
Width 200Cm.
Height 250CM.
Interior 190 CM
Historic Lancia Register No.1188
Class III Classification 6,2 ?
Sorry for the poor picture, best I have.

Ah, no, not a V6. The 2.5 liter gas Beta engine is its own animal - 4 cylinder, staggered cylinders, and 0º inclination. Fascinating.
