It reminded me of a time in the 1970s when I had to photograph the braking mechanism on the top of a very tall silo which had failed. I was OK until the "Health and Safety" man with me grabbed hold of my ankles! From then on, I couldn't get the job done fast enough. Regards, John

That made me sweat and heights don't normally worry me! Wow, what a horrible design, the number of times he had to move the safety hook and most of the time it was not practical to have it connected anyway!  I will stick to driving fast, its safer!

I was expecting them to do a parachute jump! but I agree with Chris, what the safety hook was connected to most of the time was inappropriate and would probably have folded if it had his full weight thrown on it, that is if the hook didn't slide off beforehand.
Mind, I suppose that's childs play compared to the climbers who climb without ropes or any other aids, other than a bag with whatever it is they put on their hands, especially when they have to surmount an overhang, my blood runs cold and I'm imagining the abrupt stop at the bottom
