I'm new to this forum so bear with me - I have a 1981 Beta Auto Coupe. The button on the gear lever sticks when pushed inwards and takes a while to pop up again - any ideas or suggestions? Is this a common occurrence?

Give it a spray of silicone and work it a few times, you'll find probably this is all that is necessary.
