8.32 saved from the scrapper

 I Heard about a Thema 8.32 that is to be traded-in on the goverment scrappage scheme. I went to see it this morning, it turns out to be an exellent example, The body work is perfect and the engine runs very smoothly with no noises or rattles. The clutch feels good , the only thing is the ie warning light flashing on the dash. I made an offer and it was accepted. I'll post a few pictures when i get it home, I mean sneak it home. (She dosen't know about it yet) ::)

How could anyone scrap a working 8:32 for 2 grand?  :o :'(

I ask myself that question how could anyone scrap a Thema 8.32, The man seemed to know what he had, but I dont think he  wanted the hastle of advertising, tire kickers, ect, anyway I am absoutely thrilled !!!!!! ;D but I had to offer more than the scrappage scheme.

I was very lucky to get the Thema, Kevin Mc Bride put me in touch with the mechanic who looked after the car. I spoke to him and he diden't want to see the car scrapped, he passed my number on to the owner, I diden't expect to get the call but I did, as usual just over Christmas no money ect, bit I had to go for it. I am a jammy sod ;D
