i have just found a book called michael rothensteins boxes by mel gooding which has on the cover a newspaper photo and  text of a crash in kensington between what looks like a fulvia coupe and a small fiat framed in a box with a piece of scrap metal obscuring the words and picture.there is a series of 5 of these in the book with various bits and pieces in each one.does anyone here know more?best regards richard

As you say, there are five artworks in this series. The accident taken from a newspaper and headlined 'End of a crash' is between a Fiat 500 and a Lancia Fulvia Coupé and happened in Kensington, London. The Fiat has come off worse!
The first artwork in the series features US plates for what was a UK accident. That kind of poor attention to detail means I won't personally be buying any of these!  Wink

Is this anything like the Fiat 500, Fulvia HF and Ferrari 308 pics that decorate Cafe Neros...??

Hi Richard, I'll post them in the next day or two! but I don't really see this as art, perhaps it's my age, but I just don't see the point Huh?

many thanks Brian,Lydden 1996 and journeys end for the fulvia.'fortunately'my fulvia sport JLG65K which was also at the track had a worn steering idler box that day so not fully track-worthy in the eyes of the scrutineers thus saving me from further excitement!i did fit a spare screen and wishbone and drive to michael newberrys LMC BBQ the next day though.best regards richard[also i did look for the 'crashbox'gallery but it wasnt a public gallery as far as i could see]
