Also on viva-lancia - asking 12k Euros.

Interesting project for someone by the look of it.  Not in a terrible state and very original (as far as I can see). Slightly dowdy styling I think: is it a factory body does anyone know?

It says in the ad that it is Pinin Farina. It certainly looks like similar designs by Pinin Farina on Astura chassis.

it also has the looks of a Boneschi but who knows. In any case a big challenge for someone very brave....

It looks like there's a very similar barn find Artena Ministeriale for sale at Automotoretro in Turin

What are the odds of two popping up at the same time?

Similar, but the Czech one has huge shaped bumpers around the front wings.

My contact in Italy has this to say about the two Artenas:-
The Czech car and the car at the Automotoretṛ of Turin are part of the same commission. One year later the end of the production, in 1940, the Ministry of the Defence needed a 2 liter car to assign to the Headquarter offices, so they commissioned the sedan (with and without the internal dividing) to Pininfarina, the torpedo to Viotti and the ambulance to Bertone. Meanwhile Viotti developped also a tactical vehicle, the trasformabile, for the Royal Army. All the cars were based on the IV series chassis and the trasformabile had also a different gearbox and a bigger tank.
He also mentioned this very nice original car for sale in Italy, http://www.autobelle.it/annunci/dettid.php?gb_id=128121
The price seems very reasonable, especially when you consider the costs involved in restoring either of the other cars!

If I didnt have my Artena I'd be very tempted by the Italian 6 light!  But an ambulance would be a terrific find.

The Artena is a very under rated car compared to the Astura, with which it shares many parts, as a consequence they are rarer than Asturas but probably much more practical.

Artenas are a bit like busses at the moment.........
Here's another one for sale, but compared with the Italian one it's very expensive.
