Grey Flavia Vignale in Willingham High Street, Cambs, last Saturday, 27th July. Top down, couldn't get registration due to parked cars and pedestrians so had to keep eyes on the road. Is this a local car? If so, we have a regular Cambs meet so would love to get together. Anyone know the car?

Lambda - 7th Series Weymann Saloon. Seen on the road in Hackney this afternoon – the first time on the road for almost 40 years. This is the late John Turner’s car being transported away to have the remaining trimming done and finishing off after a long drawn out and painstakingly thorough restoration. One little detail to enjoy underneath is the escapimento – seen here in pristine condition before the engine is run for the first time.

Setting off this morning to participate in a local touring assembly, a Beta and an Inegrale. The location is the Great Danes Hotel, and the event is "The Tour of Kent",which will visit Bodiam Castle for lunch. Bodiam used to host a speed hillclimb a few years back.

Why is it that steel wheels do nothing for cars these days, whereas at one time they used to look good before the advent of Alloys. Brian 8227
