Seen, admired and photographed in a pub car park today - not by me, but by a daughter who knew I would be impressed and sent it on.

That is my car.  I was having lunch with my 83 year old Mum.  The pub is the very excellent Fox and Hounds at Christmas Common, up on the Chiltern Escarpment above Watlington in South Oxfordshire.  The pub is run by a cool German called Reiner who likes cars.


That is a very good photo of the car.  I think that I may have seen your daughter - was she out for a hike with a good looking chap?  Two walkers arrived just after I parked the car, and we all waited in the sunshine for a few minutes for the pub to open.

Yesterday seen between Repton and Willington (Derbyshire) coming towards us a black Fulvia saloon. We were in Flavia Sport getting daughter Georgina reacquainted with car before taking it for a holiday in N Wales. Slight apprehension as only did 50 miles in last 2 years!

Immaculate mustard coloured Fulvia 3 (N reg) on Saltaire Road this morning travelling towards Shipley. I was just going to my garage to start and run the Beta, so pity I didn't see it a bit later.

Just back from a tour of Western Scotland. I saw several Ypsilons, all white and all well looked after it appeared. On the other hand I also saw a somewhat neglected grey modern Delta parked on Belhaven Terrace in the West End of Glasgow.
