Yes, it was another great day at Silverstone. As ever the racing was a good, but with large entries and so many different classes in each race it wasn’t easy to keep track of things. Ken Rorrison was racing in his mean looking Alfa 2000 – he did well, but confessed to me in strict confidence that he is not yet as quick as he was in his 1600 HF!
Here are some snaps from the paddock to illustrate some of it. In whatever order they come:
• Stuart Downward’s Fulvia Coupe looking very smart, and it finished well.
• Graham Hall’s Montecarlo retiring in steam after what is hopefully only a head gasket failure.
• Jai’s dusty Ferrari after being pulled out of a gravel trap where he ended up after a spirited battle with a Jaguar.
• Charles Aram’s Fulvia Sport after finishing well without mishap.
• Somebody showing how to get a lower back problem while working on an extraordinary car – a Gurney Eagle!
• A spectator’s Fulvia Sport seen in the car park.
A great day in the sunshine and an end to a memorable season of racing.

PS. I just tried posting this, but it won’t work! Although the file sizes are small and all should be OK I get a message to say the upload file is too large. I’ll try to add photos later.
PPS. I have had another couple of goes, but still won't work. I'll leave it.
