My friend was particularly taken with the Y10 - anyone know just how much work has gone in to get it to go so well?  He thought that looked as much fun as anything else there.

It's had a 1242cc 8 valve fire engine fitted from a punto, he's about to change the gearbox as it will only pull 90mph at present, for a punto 6 speed. He also has a purpose built inlet manifold and I think he said a 36DCD Careburettor fitted.

I had a good day at Goodwood spectating and chatting as I usually do, but I was concerned to see how few of the usual crowd of Lancisti that come to watch those brave enough to risk their pride and joy around the circuit, and meet up with old friends there were, I know the weather wasn't as good as it could been, but is this a sign of the times for the future, and a reflection on the exorbitant cost of fuel to drive anywhere outside you own area these days, I only made the decision to attend  myself as friend and fellow Lancisti Frank Tierney came with me shared the cost of the fuel, which at 25mpg at best from "Fay" cost about £60 Roll Eyes

That's true Brian, I reckon it's about that for the integrale to get there and back. Still, at least I haven't got a the Group 4 Beta which does 100 miles to the tankful ... Smiley

Theo,
I was pleased it has gone to a Trevi owner, I picked it up years ago with some other Lancia Manuals etc, and although I collect manuals I would never have made use of it, so you're welcome, nice to meet you and see a Trevi being used.

I had contemplated coming to Goodwood, however the £520 spent + £250 spending money the previous weekend at the GNW, then the unfortunate screen loss on the return journey which will cost me a further £500 meant this weekend was out of the question as the 650 mile round trip would have cost me about £100 plus any other expenditure on the day.
Nevertheless it sounds like a good time was enjoyed by all. Well done to the organisers and all participants.

Very, very sorry to have missed the Lambda Pheonix lunch and the Goowood track day but having moved house recently we are in France for  three weeks much needed rest over Easter.

Hope to be at the Italian Brooklands meet with Modestine in May.
