Can anybody please confirm if the Jaeger clock  with the black face, fitted in Series 1 and 2 are the same? Also, the Series 3 has a white face. Are the black and the white faces interchangeable?
Was this clock ever fitted to other cars,if so, which models.
Many Thanks

Tim

Early S2's continued with Jaeger (black face) but then changed to Veglia Borletti (black face then white face for S3). I am quite sure the black Jaeger face will not simply fit a Veglia and at some point the transistor movement was changed to quartz. You have to be vigivent on ebay to get a black Jaeger.

I assume it has stopped working. Some times warming up on a radiator with a battery attached and gently rocking brings back to life.

That's what Lin does to me! HF has passed scrutineering so it's off to Monte Carlo tomorrow leaving the centre of Chester at 0906.

S1 and S2 clocks are totally different, the later ones are in a smaller, plastic body rather than steel but the faces (on most of the later clocks) are interchangeable.
