Clutch Release Bearing

My Flavia needs a new clutch so I'm also taking the opportunity to fit a better clutch release bearing from a donor gearbox.

Now I haven't even looked at the way it attaches so the answer is maybe obvious, but is there a particular technique for removing the clutch release bearing from the Fork?

It's presumably similar to the Fulvia gearbox too.

If I recall correctly it just sits there and is retained in position by the gearbox shaft that runs through it and pressed against the clutch assembly by the c-shaped retainers on the end of each arm of the fork .... so it should more or less fall off the end of the shaft when the gearbox and engine are separated.

Found this picture ((c)LUKAFOTO2010) of a slightly different application (Uno paddle clutch in Fulvia 1600) but the same general idea ...
