I've managed to find a supplier in Italy who has stock of the original Clutch Bearings required for the Flavia 815 variants. His shipping costs were a bit silly, but if I take 3 or 4 bearings at the same time he will ship all for the same price as one.

This would equate to ~£77 a bearing if we get 4 takers. Anyone interested or do you have a cheaper solution for replacing these bearings?

On the same subject, does anyone know where to source the clutch spigot bush for this car?

On fulvias there are two basic types of release bearings. The earlier release bearing has a housing and a standard bearing inside. If you take the housing apart you can replace the bearing with one from your local friendly bearing supplier (not more than £10 from memory). The later type has the housing as an integral part of the bearing case, these are not available off the shelf and more difficult to get hold of. This may or may not be the same for Flavias.

This thread may provide some help:

The last release bearing I got for my 2000 was of the later integrated type described by Neil and was a reconditioned unit from the Flavia/2000 Consortium. It cost about £40. The Consortium's upplies of popular bits like this tend to ebb and flow but could be worth giving them a try.

If you mean the one seated in the centre of the flywheel where the gearbox input shaft terminates, I was able to get one to suit my car from a bearing supplier. Just took out the old one and brought it to them for measuring.

Lancias that begin with "F" ... and affordable variants beginning with "Z" and "P" ..... and now with added "Y"!

Regarding the spigot bearing and its rubber seal... here is the info (just posting here in case I ever need to find it again)  Roll Eyes

the Spigot bearing P/N is HK1014 2RS  http://www.bearing-king.co.uk/bearing/hk-1014-2rs-ina/5280

The oil seal has dimensions 10 x 14 x 3

Hope that comes in useful sometime.
