i've been asked to put this up for stan hughes, anyone available their help would be grately appriciated

Event city, near the Trafford Centre in Manchester is on Sat 24th & Sunday 25th March. Cars exhibiting need to be there from 10.00am to 9.00 pm on the Friday with a minimum amount of fuel in the tanks and remain there until Sunday afternoon, 4.30pm - no exceptions.

I'm looking for a Gamma, Aprilia, Astura, Flavia etc,etc the pre Fiat cars as these seem generate more interest than the newer models (with the exception of a grale of course)but Monte's, Betas would be more than welcomed.

I'm also looking for 2 male manequins as I have 2 sets of Martini Racing overalls to display.

We have room for 16 cars and are currently at 8, half what we need to fill the stand.

any help in putting something on to the forum would be appreciated.
Thanks
Stan

Fabulous LMC won club stand of the show and and five cars won prizes well done to Stan Hughes of organising this.
An excellent show 88 clubs put on stands.

Don, didn't we say that the LMC stand was objectively the best one? Wink

As I didn't get any messages or phonecalls tonight I assume that Stan was okay taking the mannequins apart! Grin

Great show, I also expect in the future it'll grow a lot bigger. Really enjoyed it Smiley Massive thank you to Stan for making it happen - getting 15 Lancias together on the stand is pretty impressive!

Fantastic and very varied mix of Lancias there. I had read the thread but the pics crown it. I don't know what the selection policy was (if any) but seems to me that an "open" invite can almost bring a better result than trying to manage the display to a designed composition/size. I know that space was an over-riding consideration at the NEC but this display looks more diverse to me. If I'd read the thread closer I would have self corrected sooner. There's no solo pic of the Zag? And no Flavias at all. Maybe diversity is not so naturally occurring after all!

Lancias that begin with "F" ... and affordable variants beginning with "Z" and "P" ..... and now with added "Y"!

You can't possibly compare the two shows, they are very very different...

Unfortunately, in spite of lots of interest, no-one joined at the show.

Just a thought , but even if people didn't join creating a mailing list might be a good idea (Friends of the Lancia Motor Club?)

You can't possibly think I was criticising either show or its selection policy! I would (and did) travel a long way to see either of them! 'sure twas Lancia Nirvana to be sure to be sure at all at all

Just got today's Classic Car weekly (sponsers of the show) 2 page spread with half page photo of our stand with editorial comment, shame they got the digits in the Aurelia date back to front 1945 instead od 1954.  None the less excellent publicity.
