I like the holes in the 1/4 light that seem to be for a handle,but a bit wasted as it doesn't have opening 1/4 lights. Interesting Number plate though.

Brian, the holes in the 1/4 lights are for the later series rear view mirrors.

The OS mirror was standard equipment on the later Coupes. Pretty sure it's an MOT fail if its missing?

But would it have had a mirroe on the window drivers side, & on the door itself on the passenger side?.
Robin, I did think about the value of the number plate but I'm sure the owner would also have known!

Robin,
These were the people who help me prove to the DVLA that 'FAY' had been issued with a 'D' suffix, as previously they had said it wasn't possible for me to have the registration number 'FAY 224D' even though I had the first and last tax discs and photos with "Fay" complete with number plates.
