The Illusionist

Was wondering if anyone could help me out - had an email earlier on asking about this truck:

This enquiry originates from Australia but the photo taken on the Island of Losinj, now Croatia, where father was one of first to have taxis and lorries. This is said to be a 1913 Lancia. Obviously it is not 1913, more like 1930, but I am also having some difficulty in identifying it as a Lancia. Problem is that shape is cca 1929-1933 but has louvers which are too long for any of the then Lancia car models and appears to be to be too small as a vehicle for one of the Lancia trucks.
