A little jewel I reckon and apparently not rusty. I have never owned an Appia but Appia owners always seem to be very enthusiastic and they care certainly well designed little luxury cars. Pity the bodies are so complex and expensive to repair.......so a rust free example is well worth considering I would have thought. Very little salt was put on the roads in Italy in the past I believe.

True Chris, but 50 years of life and being exposed to the elements can allow tinworm to thrive sans salt......but if kept inside in a dry area then certainly a better chance of it being much less of a problem

Anyone who hasn't got an Appia should get one - you won't be sorry.  And at £1600 you can't go wrong.

I would most certainly second that proposal !!!!!  My Appia has surpassed all my expectations, A real pleasure to drive and simply great fun to be in wherever you are.
