Just heard the sad news of the death of John Turner. A lovely man and a great loss to the club and to all his friends. Gerry and I met Christine and John as young people in London more years ago than I like to think and he has always been warm and friendly and infinitely helpful on our unfortunately rare meetings since. Our greatest sympathy to Christine and to all his family.
