I thought at first that this was the same !c Normale that was spotted in a car park in London a couple of years ago as it appears to be the same colour, which is Doncaster Grey, the same colour as "Fay" but looking at the photos it isn't.
As I'm going to Brooklands on New Years Day and the car is at Egham, I've asked can I go and have a look as I have a friend who could be interested.

I've just had a further look and I see all the trim on and below the dashboard is completely shot, as was "Fays", the chances of finding a top crash pad is pretty remote here and probably on the Continent as well.
The Fulvia script on the dash is missing and someone has left some lovely speaker holes in the font door pads Roll Eyes
Engine bay will also need a good sorting out as well.
I'm not aware of another Normale in the UK so it would make a nice addition, although the performance is not exactly blistering, which is why it was replaced by the 2c.

Owner just replied, seems it is still on the Continent and will only be brought to the UK if he has enough people interested.

Best of the bunch is the GTE, the interesting one is the Fulvia 2c for it's history, but blowing up the picictures reveal it's not a case of, Doors and "ONLY NEEDS PAINTING" All the dashboard foam padding is shot, and I think a careful look at the wheelarches and sills would be in order
And this little gem....

Posting this a little out of sequence due to internet problems....but that price for a Fulvia 1C is very high. There are plenty of Fulvia Sedans over here in Italy in reasonable condition bodywise....but the brakes are not cheap to recondition properly and the bodywork can be problematical, particularly the rear suspension mountings and of course the rear front subframe mounts.
Nevertheless a good S1 Fulvia sedan is a really wonderful car to drive in all road conditions.
In the early 70's, Jacky's 2C was the only car which could drive up Egham Hill in the snow at Christmas!

By the way a word of advice.
www.subito.it is not the same as ebay - there are no guarantees that the seller is bona-fide and subito give no safety guarantees. It is a no-cost website to put people in touch. Its definitely buyer beware and IMHO the only way to buy through subito is to literally go and see what you are considering buying and take the cash with you. And then if you buy it, you come away with the article having paid for it there and then.

It's a regular misconception that the interior is leather, a mistake that is frequently made when people are looking at "Fays" interior, and who are quite surprised when informed that it isn't  Cheesy
That said it doesn't look bad for the money.

Ref the Autoscout Fulvia, this is an S2 and IMHO the S2 Fulvia Sedans are nowhere as well built as the early cars. I am sure I will offend someone by saying this but I can only speak as I found in the 70's.
Jacky's first car in 1974 was a lhd 1967 2C which was subsequently written off in 1978 by an idiot in an Alfasud clouting her rh front wheel area at speed cracking the subframe etc (with our 3 v young children in the car at the time!) The Alfa was also a write off.
This was then replaced by a 5 speed S2 Berlina - a 1971 car I recall - which had rusty doors already and which, whilst faster and more refined, never quite ticked the boxes in the way the 2C did.
The impression I have today in Italy is that the early Fulvia saloons are more sought after than the later cars and the same applies to Fulvia Coupes.
