I am so pleased it is sold, I was tempted and I am already on death row !!!!!!
I hope it stays in the country and there is a full and swift completion to the restoration.

I am delighted to say that the Appia will be moving to a nice cosy garage in the S of France , I know she will not be staying in the UK, but she will be in good hands and will be sympathetically restored/conserved over the next few months
I plan to use her for some light vineyard work and promo, so she will be used.
All I need to do now is get her down here !
A new diary will start once there is something to report ......

Well done.....a return to warmer clims must have been welcomed by the little Lancia work horse, will keep my eyes peeled for up-dates.

I am also pleased that Simon has bought the van - one of the most important issues to me was that she went to a good home, and I am very persuaded Simon is one! It feels as if I have just chopped out part of my life, but being sympathetically restored and used by Simon is probably a better fate that sitting in my shed for at least another ten years waiting for me to have the time to do the work! And France isn't a million miles away (22 to be exact!!). Cheers Alan

Excellent news, look forward to seeing the reports of the restoration, although I did think that this would have been ideal for you, its 4WD has a Lancia badge on it and was only 3,500 euro (It did sell very quickly though!!)

Robin, Looks like a Bugatti? Brian 8227 [/quote] To be honest Brian I didn't notice what make it was but pretty sure that it wasn't a Bugatti. Robin.
