Surprisingly little ground clearance at the front......

Seems to have slightly more in 2006.

Seems to have slightly more in 2006.
I think it's much the same as any other Lambda, but it depends if it has its undertray fitted. Regards, John

The link that Richard gave in the first post included some good stuff about Joseph Emberton the architect who designed the Airway. Emberton did quite a bit of work in Blackpool including the Pleasure Beach, which has recently been restored to some of its former glory – see photo below. Apparently he went on to design roller-coaster rides and related fun things elsewhere.

Emberton is not a common name and when John Turner was under the care of Professor Mark Emberton at University College London Hospital he asked him if he was related – and indeed he was (and still is) Joseph’s Grandson.
