They ~might~ have sold but to my knowledge still looking for homes. This one with Peter Murphy in Suffolk. I got as far as the extra photos by email and "the serious chat" at home:-
http://www.lancia.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5426.0I'd have LOVED to have had that car as my everyday runabout...I won the "second car" argument but we ended up retiring the Merc 300TE from the "front line" to runabout and bought a BMW 530i touring for the longhaul/highdays/holidays. The Jury is still out on the wisdom of that call.
Ben Courage's Selectronic (near Bath?):
http://www.lancia.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5641.0There was a discussion about splitting the genuine LMC adverts from the "I just saw this" items. Maybe there's an argument for an Omicron style listing and remove the cars that have sold?
For anyone with an itch to scratch the other BIG temptation out there is Alan Parke's Beta Coupe in Essex which again I think is yet to sell.
http://www.lancia.myzen.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5000.0It was at the LMC 100th, wine red, lovely tweedy interior. Again I got to the "extra photos" stage. Stunning value for money but its been laid up for a while so will need an MOT and a bit of use rather than a "jump in and go" prospect. I expect if you were serious he'd get an MOT on it and give it some use so you could be confident it was still all there. A bigger boot than a Y10 but less headroom (I should have bought it five years ago) and without the hatchback versatility but as a 2+1 or with small kids (how soon they grow) what a car... A 1600 as a everyday car (or with teens learning to drive) arguably preferable to a 2000 or volumex. Alas I needed space for two teens and a (for now!!) smaller one so it didn't make sense. I got as far as looking at a down-and-out Coupe within walking distance to "size it up" and alas, it didn't measure up. "If she sits behind me and you move the passenger seat all the way forwards to make leg room in the back and the two of you swap half way..." It was not to be.
