The yellow and black Belna Eclipse was owned by an American in New Hampshire who also had an Augusta March also sold last year by RM for £95000.

Both have been given IMHO an OTT American restoration which has ignored originality, the March with  polished rocker cover and engine  turned dash, the Belna upholstered in ostrich skin!

The Belna used to be in the UK and was owned by Scott Moncreiff who sold it to America.  Both have been displayed and won prizes at Pebble Beach and Hershey.

The Pourtout Belnas are lovely. As for the Portout Astura, attributed to Paulin, exquisite seems apt!!
