I have mentioned elsewhere that I have been involved in putting the Turner family’s Augusta (BLD 729) back on the road – something that was put on-hold in April after my bike crash. I am pleased to say that work has resumed and that it went out for its first run for almost a year earlier last week. See photo below, taken in Hackney during a search for water after discovering a leaking water tap housing. All will be OK very soon.

Thank you Richard, but it's an Augusta not a Lambda. Never mind it's a good excuse to post this great photo of John's Lambda in Hackney with a then typical Hackney backdrop, taken by him some time on the early 1980s.

Thanks for pointing that out Colin, I must have those Gismondi photos on my mind. Anyhow another fine photo. Plenty of pre gentrification London photos of London here too http://www.derelictlondon.com/
