How does he expect to sell it without a single photo? A pity really, it would be nice to get the details of another one.

I have asked for photos, will see what comes back, but from brief description sounds as bad as your old one Neil.... If not worse.

I wonder if no photos keeps chancers away, or the other way round. At least in the absence of pictures you can't convince yourself it's an easy restoration. You would have to go and see it, which always makes sense.

This is odd, it seems to be back with the chap who called me, not the guy who had it on ebay most recently. Or are we just seeing old adds??

Indeed so Frank. I was really the alternative source of Lancia adverts that I thought of interest morer than the masochistic opportunity it offered.

Through the MOT today with a couple of advisories. So tax next week and I'm off!
A relief after last years surprise hole in the wheel arch. Will celebrate by swapping in my LMC 2016 badge.

The 1300 Coupe enjoyed it's second outing as a Prom car. Unlike last time though there was no queue of exotic cars pulling up to the venue. Shame.

Did my annual camping trip in the Coupe last week. To Ledbury and back, so a 500 mile plus round trip including a drive down to the Forest of Dean. Sadly the car ran poorly on the run down, including some alarming 'jolts' at 70 on the motorway, and to add insult to injury another radiator fan thermostat failed. At least this was in the 'on' mode again though.
I was a bit down in the mouth about it all, but then the car ran like a dream on the trip home! What can you do! No doubt another bit of microscopic crap in the carb jets that eventually dislodged itself.
Just the Otley Vintage Transport Fair next week then SORN is approaching.

Neil, While you were in the Forest you should have looked in on John Brain at Bob Brain Developments, john has just got his Fulvia on the road after a very long time as a Rallye car. He'd have been able to help with your problem as well! Love that part of the Country, and we used to live at Symonds Yat. Brian 8227

I think we are pretty much 50/50 on 1300 Coupes and Saloons. This one drew some comments on the Betaboyz Forum re the ambitious price! Though as Alan Cooper always points out, a similar Mk2 Escort in this condition would probably be £10K.

The Coupe's most eventful year effectively came to an end yesterday when I filled out the SORN. 4100 miles since the MOT in March, 8% of the 38 years worth of total milage, including it's trip to Italy.
I could have done more, but I used the Ypsilon for GNW and National Weekend so as not to 'go mad'.
Rounded off the year on Saturday with a quick ride up to the Dales and a visit to Billy Bob's Diner.
