This came via an unsolicited e-mail to the club so no knowledge of vendor, appears to be a dealer: My name in Pipo Martínez Ridaura and I am selling this lovely car: I present this unrestored Lancia Aurelia B20 Gt2 '53 running car LHD. The chassis is: B202921 Here you have a link with many pictures and a good film. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/665b9swhcgftbcx/AABWo7e5x0QrmzAqKHHrkG7ja?dl=0 As you now the prices of this car are increasing so I think is a good opportunity. I am selling in 72.000eur and the car is in Spain, stored for a immigrant family for more than 30years. For any question you can write (email; classicpassions@hotmail.com) or call to my cell 0034 663777202. Regards, Pipo.

Another B20, not in Spain, just came up on my 'alerts'. Asking price $15k USD, less than £10k. Jump fast! (if it's real.) http://eugene.craigslist.org/cto/4666994975.html

The Craigslist one is now deleted. Shame as all I need is a bodyshell really. I have got everything else. Mind you the Advert Title said 150k USD whereas the ad said 15k!

The Spanish car seems a little odd, LHD and 1953, I didn't think LHD came out till '55. Plus the location of the gear lever suggests its got a hydraulic clutch.

B20-2921 makes it a 3rd series, RHD of course, and 1953 is correct for a 3rd. Strange that it is LHD on photos! On the film you see a mexican number plate - and that strange wooden dashboard. Film seems to prove that engine runs!

Is it possible that the LHD is a conversion? That could be the reason for the dashboard. If it was LHD from the factory then would it not be a B20S?
I cannot make out any detail in the one under bonnet shot, it all just looks a dirty mess.

It seems it was a later conversion…. to LHD.

The main giveaway that it has been converted to LHD, (apart from as Andy says the chassis number is for a RHD car) is the fact that under the bonnet the battery is on the right and the suspension oiler/brake reservior are on the left. On LHD cars they are the other way around.

If anyone is serious about buying this car and converting it back to original, I am pretty sure I have a rhd B20 dashboard + steering column, steering box, front axle and original underfloor pedal assembly etc etc. Chris

Is that a brake cooling duct on the front hub?

Yes. Standard for 6th Series cars.
