As well as continuing our successful evening meetings on the last Tuesday's of the month at the Anchor Inn Hartfield, we are running a traditional lunchtime meeting with a festive menu on Thursday 1st January 2015, this will replace an evening meeting on December 30th.

It would be lovely to see some members who have so far not managed to make the monthly meetings.

The menu will nee to be pre-ordered so if want to give your cars a run, come along and join us on this festive occasion. For more information and a copy of the menu please contact me on alijoure@hotmail.com

Best wishes

Details for our New Year's Day meeting have been finalised by Alison and are as follows:

LUNCH TIME MEETING 1ST JANUARY 2015 AT THE ANCHOR INN HARTFIELD TN7 4AG

The pub will be open from 11 and we will sit down to lunch at 12. The Anchor has prepared a very nice two course menu for us, see attachment, and meals will need to be pre-booked.

At 13.30 we will take a short drive across the Ashdown Forest to Robin and Margaret's house for tea/coffee and nibbles.

Hopefully the weather will be kind so that we can produce our usual array of interesting cars to view/chat about between 11 and 12. And please do come along and join us even if you don't wish to book the meal.

Please can you let Alison know if you will be attending, if you haven't already done so, with your menu choice by Monday 29th December.  alijoure@hotmail.com

If you can't make it, we will continue our monthly meetings the last Tuesday of the month starting on January 27th from 6.30pm.

It would be lovely to see some new faces and indeed any LMC members on the 1st especially those that can't normally attend Tuesday evenings due to work commitments etc.

Robin.

Many thanks to Alison for organising, and to Robin, Margaret and family for their afternoon of hospitality. Looking forward to any photos taken on the day.

Excellent turnout for our first New Year's Day gathering.

23 attendees and 2 late comers.  2 x Dilambda (when was that seen before, if ever?) a Fulvia S1 1600HF Fanalone and a Fulvia S2 1600HF plus moderns.

Great company and good food, shame about the weather. Most opted to give the scenic route to our house a miss which was probably wise as the views from the Ashdown Forest were shrouded in mist. However, all arrived safely to enjoy a further  couple of hours chat and light refreshment and judging by the feedback it looks likely to become a regular event.

Sorry about the poor quality of the pics, hopefully others will post better ones.

Notice that Elaine Moore's Dilambda now sports an age related number which we managed to persuade DVLA to issue.

Robin

The Fulvias look like peddle cars.  What a turnout...

Grin Elaine Moore brought along her own driver Mark for her Dilambda and son Jonathan drove the Fanalone. Well, it is half his anyway! His wife Andrea was up for using the Fulvia Berlina but in the end we decided against it! Richard Fridd did get to see it on the day having of course at one time owned it.

Many thanks to all who attended our first New Years Day lunch. Great to see so many nice comments about the day and the special cars on show, here are some more photo to throw into the mix.

Evening monthly meetings will re-commence on January 27th at the Anchor Inn Hartfield, and continue on the last Tuesday of every month thereafter. The food is very good and excellent value for money. We generally have a good turnout and ladies are very welcome, several already attend regularly. Newcomers would be very welcome.

There was talk about a summer BBQ at the Lacey's instead of the pub meet, watch this space!!
