Hello,

Hopefully someone can help? Where is the best place to get a new throttle cable for my Fulvia. The car is a S1.5 Fulvia sport 1.3s. The current throttle cable has a threaded end that screws into a plastic socket that then pops on to the throttle linkage. The current one, which is a bit of a lash up, threaded rod with cable brazed in to it, through a drilled centre down its length.

However the original one on the car had the same type of screw fixing, although was a proper part, and so I am looking for this part and would like some direction on where these may be available? Also is there a difference in the cable depending if the car is RHD or LHD?

Thanks in advance.

Bought my spare from Omicron Donkey's years ago.
Don't know for sure but usually RHD & LHD cables differ.

Hi Guys,

Please see here for the current cable.

I intend to try Omicron, although would also like to know if there are any other good sources. From the look of it they are available, but they look shorter and are coming from either Italy, or Germany and so I assume they are LHD.

Thanks,
Greg

As Brian said give Omicron a ring. Picture of mine RHD 1600 Sport.

I assume you have the little rollers etc at the pedal end?

BTW the extra coil spring is my modification for track day and keeping the butterflies properly shut on 42 Solexs It has been an amzing mod for over 15000 miles...
