Sombre thought:  I read that the late great Hugh Ross was member no. 75.  I am no. 95!   How many of The Old 100 are left?

I asked the current membership secretary Sarah and current membership there are 26 members in the 0-100 range, 9 of which are registered on this forum.

Hope this gives some encouragement!

A quick scan of the register shows Gerald Batt as having the lowest number at 23. I don't think he is active on here however.

As are quite a high proportion of the surviving eldest Lancias.

You can't necessarily rely on the membership number for the earliest members. Although some will have been "original" issue.  In the sixties Frank Barkway the Secretary recycled numbers, when I joined he asked me what number I would like, of those available I chose 111.

I joined in 1993 with 8227, surely there wasn't been over 8000 members in that time? interesting to know what are we up to 21 years on?

DonW 111 in 1964 and I am 117 in 1980 (from memory!) so numbers fairly meaningless.
