To find it sold for $59,000....3 bidders slogged it out from $45,000....34 bids in total!

Car was originally prepared by Richard Thorne in the UK with, I think, a low compression engine for low octane fuel.
Quite where the 160 bhp claims in the bringatrailer words come from I really don't know. Gamberetti used to claim 165 bhp  max for a full race twin Weber 2500cc B20 engine. And to cope with this, they insisted you needed a sintered paddle clutch with special springs and updated transaxle inner driveshafts.
