Did you see this featured on the new classic car programme with Quentin Willson et al? One of the presenters did his first ever competition drive at the Crystal Palace sprint in a modified Midget. Brought back memories. I only did it the once and you were in your Austin 7 David. I also remember it because we peeled the numbers off, drove home, put luggage in and set off to France for two weeks that evening. Good fun indeed.

This event requires a club application for a minimum (maximum on form) of 5 cars, the entry for one show car to include driver and one passenger are free, additional passengers is an extra fee, a number of us are attending the Brands Hatch event on Sunday 24th, if any one is interested, we could submit an entry for the Monday 25th.  Please send me a mail (surreylancia@ntlworld.com) to gauge numbers.
