Would anybody have , or can somebody point me in the direction of a Fulvia 3 wiring diagram. I'm specifically looking for alternator/regulator/ignition light wiring connections.
Thanks in anticipation,
Bob

Hi Bob, I have diagrams, I'll mail some over later, sounds like you don't have handbook. Neil

Neil,
I do have a handbook and guess what I've just discovered lurking in it? A veritable cornucopia of wiring diagrams! Doh...
Many thanks for pointing that out so politely... and no need to mail anything across.
All the best , Bob

Check type of alternator for specific wiring as Bosch is different to Ducillier....

No problem, at least you found it,  the Ducellier alternator has the regulator under the wing, near the horn and cooling fan relays.

Thanks chaps,
My car's got a Ducellier, which has been checked by a specialist and is in good health, I've got a fresh battery and a new regulator from Omicron but for some reason I've still got charging issues. I suspect the new reg may be faulty but I've conceded defeat on this one due to lack of time not to mention my ineptitude with a multi meter and dropped it off at the local garage. Their electrician asked for a wiring diagram so he could sense check the various connections .

i think I mentioned a 2cv regulator available for peanuts is correct aftermarket part for the Ducillier. Also there is a small (green?) wire that goes onto a spade terminal at the back of the Ducillier which if not connected will give no charge output but the red light stays off.....

Mmm...Tim, the green wire sounds as if it could be a contender. The wiring under the bonnet is an 'orrible mish mash of spliced in connections and jury-rigged modifications and bodges. During the winter I will hopefully address these problems but in the meantime I'll have to patch and mend.

Might be a good idea to post the diagram on the technical information thread.
