Beta 2000 IE HPE

The decider on Beta's is always the sills and the windscreen surround, and sometimes the rear suspension turrets. If any of these have rusted, you have a big project and a lot of delicate welding to fix them.

Some of the very late cars (like this one) had the sunroof drain tubes into, rather than through, the sills, leading to predictably disastrous rust issues in the complex three skin construction.

The injection set up is starting to cause running issues in some cars, but nothing that isn't fixable with patience and the right parts, which are usually available..

1985 LANCIA BETA HPE 2000IE just popped up on e-bay. Needs a bit of tidying but looks a solid basis for a nice car with a bit of work. Hopefully that will keep the price down.
