Hi,

I'm not a member, used to be many years ago though.

I've got two Lancia's I'm never going to get round to doing anything with, they've got to go.

I would appreciate it if you could forward this to whomever might be interested. Obviously I don't want to pay for membership as I won't be a Lancia owner soon!

I could get £100 from the scrap man who will shred them, but I'd rather they went to a good home and either restored or used to keep other cars running.

The cars are a metallic black Delta HF i.e. 1600 and 2.0 Beta coupe Hifi #66

They're currently in council lock up garages, the Hifi having sat there (in the dry) for 20+ years! The Delta a bit less!

They both drove into their current locations, but are now sitting on flat tyres and whoever takes them will need a flat bed trailer a mobile air compressor and a winch! I imagine the brakes are rusted up.
There is no electricity on the garage site, so a mains powered compressor won't work without a generator.

The beta isn't in a bad state for a Beta Coupe, but surface rust is showing through the paintwork. If it had been parked outside it would be nothing more than a brown stain on the ground, but she's been covered for 20 years (although she wasn't pristine when she went in obviously!). It's a HiFi, so has the silly spoiler on the back, and the boot damper actually still works and holds it up!

The Delta looks astonishingly good. Bonnet, wings, doors (all bar the one I dented when I was driving it) all great. Rear edge of the roof (standard weak point of the Delta) is going, but it's better than many I've seen.

Both cars are on their original Alloy wheels, and as far as I can remember, are completely standard.

The bad news, the council are closing down the garages and they've given me notice to quit them... So this is a very very urgent call!

I need them to go, one way or the other. I work locally, so I can always meet anyone who comes down during the week.

I'm not breaking them for parts, I don't have the space or time, they go as a whole car.

I know that HiFi - I used to go to school with the (now ex) owner and he bought my first Lancia from me!
Amazed it is still around, good luck with the revival.
