The headlight treatment looks fine in the period photo, less so from the angle in the colour photo.  A bit of a "feature for the sake of it"?

Love the petrol pipe, hate the battery.  Is the pale handbrake handle unusual?

Well known car those last years, reappeared at the Aurelia show in 2007 at the Bonfanti museum in Bassano del Grappa.

Bertone body, only delivery kms (very few). Belgian owner.

Headlight arrangement special. Sadly the interior, wool cloth, as new, has some moth holes in it.
Pale handbrake handle is standard on early Aurelias (including 3rd series B20) so until 1953 I think. (Is of the same color as early standard steering wheel).
Battery: They just forgot to peel off the sticker which is on all Bosch batteries - without it it is not really offensive anymore.

David, I agree totally about that headlight treatment. There is a definite pair of eyebrows above the lights, unnecessary and distinctly odd.

With regard to the battery, I agree it would look much better without the stickers, but a 50s battery, in my book, should always be black!!! But that is nit picking ...

All in all, a stunning looking car.
