I was invited to the press launch and have written a story that will appear in Retro-Speed Magazine tomorrow (
www.retro-speed.co.uk). The company is CMC (Classic Motor Cars) based in Bridgenorth and the 4th Series Aurelia GT is owned by non-executive Director David Barzilay. The company owned by Peter Neumark is top end, and runs an apprenticeship scheme with eight chosen to do a complete restoration on this car. This is no silly TV game show, but a fully involving responsibility with each step signed off by management. The enthusiasm, and the knowledge already gained by this dedicated team is unbelievable. www.retro-speed.co.uk It would be interesting to see if anybody knows the car. It is a 4th Series, built in 1954 and imported into the UK in 1960, registered to a Mr. Robin Ernshaw.
